Eight remote controls, eight turquoise plastic baskets, a ball of coloured shoelaces, two handles, a pile of empty CD cases, a handful of plastic beads. The list can be continued endlessly. The photos in the series Private Wishlist are taken from the Serbian website ›Kupindo‹, where articles of daily use are privately offered for sale. Showing them one after the other, Nina Zeljković reveals a quasi-obligatory display convention and implies that we cannot live without these products nowadays. (Lisa Bosbach)

Here meditation describes sitting still and contemplating. A practice during which one is thrown back on oneself and patiently learns to calm one’s mind. Competitive Meditation as Nina Zeljković calls her porcelain meditation cushion, evokes the very opposite: a competition. Is it a competition to find out who can meditate best? Or is it a battle against the unruly spirit? At the end lies the desired goal of overcoming the duality of subject and object: Samadhi. (Lisa Bosbach)
