In their two-channel video, Rosanna Graf and Paulina Nolte refer to a scene from Gucci’s fashion show Cruise 2016. Their re-enactment shows two women: Teen and Texas woman. One of them kneels down and snuggles up to the shoes of the other one, who is sitting on a sofa. In the opposing arrangement of the two screens showing the same motif there unfolds a dialogue between the now four protagonists, with the public now placed in its middle. The categories of observing and being observed are cast into doubt and can no longer be clearly distinguished from one another. (Lisa Bosbach)
